I had to put my own spin on the viral nature’s gatorade trend, and oh my gosh I’m here to report that this recipe truly lives up to the hype! My coconut citrus nature’s gatorade features coconut water, freshly squeezed orange and lime juice, an electrolyte packet (my go-to is LMNT), and is garnished with fresh citrus and mint. It’s bright, refreshing and better than any store-bought gatorade.
- Amazing flavor
- Super hydrating
- Better than gatorade
Ingredients You Need
- Coconut water: Coconut water adds great flavor and amazing hydrating properties.
- Electrolyte powder: I used citrus salt LMNT, but feel free to use your favorite electrolyte powder.
- Sumo oranges: Freshly juiced oranges work best! I love love love sumo oranges, but any variety of orange will work if it’s not sumo season.
- Lime: Freshly juiced lime works best!
- Mint: I love garnishing my nature’s gatorade with fresh mint.
